Stampede 2010

This year was no different for us. We had to hit the annual stampede... a couple of times! We ate the yummy food, rode rides, watched our neice dance on the free stage, went to the rodeo, and also a concert. It was a fun filled time for us. This year Logan's office was a sponser so we had bunk house passes that allowed us to eat the food that was catered in. One night was fantastic. We had chicken, ribs, corn on the cob and salad! Yummy! Don't worry though we did hit the food court and got chicken on a stick, pulled pork and lemonade. This guy has the best lemonade ever! The best part is if you save your glass from year to year you only have to pay the refill price. Sweet! We are a bit cheap I know.

Our neice Rylee dances with a company here and they were able to perform on one of the free stages this year. She did so good and we love to be able to be a part of her activies.
Of course we went to a rodeo. Although that night I didn't take any pictures... not sure why. It was fun filled with all the rodeo activies. Calf roping (which a calf got hurt and we still don't know if it survived :( ), barrel racing, team roping, rodeo clown, bull riding and bull fighting. Reid asked the whole rodeo when the bull riding was going to happen. They of course do that at the end so people will stay. Finally it was time for bull riding and Reid couldn't pay more attention. He loved it. Oh and they had mutten bustin. He said he wants to do that next year... we will see!

One of our favorite singers came to the stampede this year. Keith Urban!! LOVE him! Plus he sings our song. It was a great concert. He can really entertain a crowd. One of our friends came with us because his wife was out of town and needed some attention! I hope he didn't feel like a third wheel. We loved having him hang out. Then the other ticket we had we gave to another friend so he and his wife could be at the concert together. They brough their little two month old and he slept in my arms during the first part of the concert until I had to hand him back to his mom. Such a sweet baby. The night was perftect. We had so much fun.

The two weeks that the stampede was here wasn't long enough. We say that every year. So we will wait another year to enjoy all the fun festivites!

We REALLY need to go again next year. I think my boys would love it.
